WHAT IS UX DESIGN?

The term UX or User Experience describes the overall experience a user gets when interacting with a product or services. While User Experience (UX) Design is a process of designing digital process or services with the users needs, behaviour and preferences in mind. Also planning the experience a person will have when they interact with a particular product or service.

The goal of UX design is to create products that are easy to use, efficient and enjoyable to use.

The term "User Experience Design" was coined out by Dr Donald Norman an Electrical Engineer and Cognitive scientist in Apple in the 1990s. He focused on user centred designs which puts users need at the front of the product design.

The principle of UX Designs include Useful, Usable, Desirable, Accessible, Findable, Credible, and valuable. UX Design look to bridge the gap between the product and user.

UX designers use wireframes to communicate their initial design ideas and to demonstrate how the design will function. Wireframes can be hand-drawn or created on a computer, and are often used when designing digital products. Wireframes are used in UX Design just as Architects makes use of blueprints.

In UX Design, we have good UX Designs and bad UX Designs. A good UX designs are easy to navigate, visually appealing, and provide clear and concise information. They are also designed with the user’s needs and goals in mind, making the product or service easy and enjoyable to use. A good UX design leads to a positive user experience while a bad UX design typically leads to a negative user experience.
